Good News!

This is good news:

LEXINGTON, Neb. — A female schoolteacher was arrested in Mexico and the 13-year-old boy she allegedly ran away with was turned over to his relatives, a prosecutor said Saturday.

Kelsey Peterson, a 25-year-old sixth-grade math teacher and basketball coach at Lexington Middle School, was arrested in Mexicali, a city on the border with California, Dawson County Attorney Elizabeth Waterman said.

They were found and apprehended by Mexican authorities without incident Friday evening. Peterson was in FBI custody and transported back to the U.S. early Saturday, and the boy was released to relatives in Mexico, Waterman said.

What’s with this whole teacher and young student thing….and female teachers with boys? I mean, I remember the whole “boy student having a crush on his female teacher thing,” but while it used to be the teachers had a level of maturity and common sense about them and never entertained the idea of fulfilling that boy’s fantasy, now these women seem to have lost that discretion. I could never have imagined being interested in an 8th grade boy when I was 25. How disgusting is *that*??????????

Throw the book at this woman, please. I would never want my son or daughter exposed to such a poor example of an adult.

Chester Arthur Stiles, Videotaped, alleged child rapist, but still a convicted douche. Coming soon to a Pound Me In The Ass Prison Near You

Chester Arthur Stiles, the man identified in a videotape “allegedly” raping a three year old girl, has been arrested by police.

LAS VEGAS - Police said late Monday they had arrested Chester “Chet” Arthur Stiles, the man accused of videotaping himself while raping a 3-year-old girl.

So much for his ex-girlfriend’s claim that he’d “never be taken alive by the police.”

And what a pity it is that he was taken alive by the police. On the other hand, if convicted and sent to prison, we have the gratification of knowing that he’ll be on the receiving end of the horrors he visited (allegedly, conveniently videotaped) on a three year old girl.

Chester Arthur Stiles Puts “Survivalist” Skills To The Test

New development in the search for Chester Arthur Stiles:

Seems like our search for Chester Arthur Stiles at the Salvation Army Shelter yesterday might have borne some fruit. A half-hour after we showed Stiles’ mug shot to people at the shelter, the security guard we spoke to thinks he spots Stiles - so he calls Metro. Witnesses say that person walked up to where the mug shot was posted on the wall, took one look at it, and then turned and ran away. He was chased down the street by a group of 20-30 homeless people, who lost the man near the train tracks behind Jerry’s Nugget Casino in North Town.

Metro showed up and interviewed people that claim to have seen Stiles. They told me today that they are not certain it was a valid sighting but they are not discounting it either.

But one thing is for certain, Stiles will have a tougher time now blending in with the homeless. Shelter staff made copies of the mug shot we gave them and I’m told Stiles’ picture is posted at churches, soup kitchens, and bars in the area.

Wait a second here. I thought this guy was a “survivalist” who is “very, very, dangerous” and carried a “combat-style knife.” Why would he run? We know he fancied himself as a Navy SEAL, so why didn’t he stand his ground and go down fighting? His ex-girlfriend told the media that “he’d never be taken by the police.”

Maybe it’s because he wasn’t facing defenseless three year old girls.

While there is a slim possibility that some drunken tourist, broke from constantly losing at the roulette wheel, wandered into the shelter and thought he saw himself in the mug shot and ran, it’s probably not very likely.

Assuming it was our man Chet, and considering the possibility that at least some of the homeless chasing him were Vietnam vets, he’s very, very lucky he escaped intact.

Chester Arthur Stiles, Videotaped, alleged child rapist, but still a convicted douche. If you see this man, remember, he’s been trained to run really, really fast, so keep Las Vegas police on speed dial

Hunting Subhumans

KVBC (Las Vegas) reporter Jesse Corona is on the prowl for Chester Arthur “Chet” Stiles, the man seen in the four year old video molesting a three year old little girl.

We even talked to someone who claims she’s seen Stiles more recently.

Man from Salvation Army: He was here yesterday.

Jesse Corona: Yesterday?

Man from Salvation Army: Yeah. He stays here

Shelter staff posted Stiles’ mug shot on the wall. Reaction to hearing what he was wanted for was extreme. Many of the residents indicated if they found him first, he would be in rough shape by the time Metro was called.

Sounds to me like Chester Stiles isn’t the “survivalist” that he’s been made out to be. It also seems that he really isn’t all that impervious to a lack of electricity and water as was originally implied. But watch out, he carries a knife! Combat style, even!

I stand by what I said in my earlier post:

No, I believe Stiles is holed up in some seedy roach infested domicile with a neon sign that reads “otel” in the dark and that advertises weekly rates. Either that, or he’s holed up with a pedophile buddy. These scumbags stick together, just ask NAMBLA. I’d also guess he bundles up to go out in public, and scurries around furtively wondering if that convenience store clerk recognized his face.

While the Salvation Army isn’t necessarily a seedy roach infested domicile, it sure isn’t the Bellagio.

I also agree with Jesse Corona’s take on the mother that was posted on his blog which I linked above:

Tuesday we got the news the mother of the child victim would be issuing a statement through her attorney in an 11:30 press conference. The gist of that conference was that the mother wanted her family to be left alone and given space by the media. She (through her attorney) says she is worried about her daughter being victimized through the media. When I asked her attorney what about the actual victimization of her daughter that took place 4 years ago, (how could she not have seen any signs or known what was going on?) her attorney said he didn’t want to speculate, but she just didn’t. He also said she was a hard-working single mother who worked six days a week and left her child in the care of a nanny.

The mother speculates the abuse happened during that time, but also says Stiles was a distant family friend and never a caretaker. Mom also says she didn’t see any of the EXTENSIVE news coverage on every TV channel in every newspaper and had to be told her daughter was the girl in the video by a family friend.

Questions, questions. Why does Mom have to issue statements through an attorney? What exactly is a “distant family friend?” What about the nanny? If this happened when Mom was at work, didn’t this occur when the nanny was in charge? What did the nanny know and when did h/she know it?

The “hard working single mother who works six days a week” thing smells of “excuse” to me. What are they trying to convey, that only married, unemployed parents would notice that their three year old daughter was being abused sexually? Or the lazy single mother who only works 5 days a week, she’d notice?

Chester Arthur Stiles, Not The SEAL You Thought He Was: If You See This Man, Turn Him Over To The Las Vegas Salvation Army, Then Call The Las Vegas Police, But Wait Awhile

Oh, and thanks to commenter Sammii, Chester Arthur “Chet” Stiles was never a Navy SEAL

The quarry of a nationwide police manhunt, accused of videotaping himself raping a 3-year old girl, was never a Navy SEAL as he claimed and authorities have reported, the Navy said Tuesday.

It’s too bad for Mr. Stiles. He’s going to really need some survival skills once he hits the penitentiary.

One Corner of the World Just Got Safer…

…self-inflicted justice? Who cares….no more kids will be exploited by these pigs:

A couple featured as wanted child predators on The O’Reilly Factor Wednesday were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide shortly after the segment aired, sources tell FOXNews.

Paul and Myrtis Gauthreaux were wanted by the FBI for engaging in sexual conduct with minors and appeared on a segment of the show that profiled alleged child pornographers.

I dunno how this relative feels, but their actions should be applauded:

After seeing the O’Reilly Factor segment, a relative of the couple called them before notifying the FBI of their whereabouts. When federal investigators arrived at their home, the Gauthreauxs had fled to an undisclosed location. The FBI said Paul Gauthreaux shot his wife dead before turning the gun on himself.

No appeals, no taxes needed to house and feed them. Case closed.

Paging Pit Bull Owners

If any of my readers have a really vicious dog, pit bull, rottweiller, whatever. I’d like to borrow it please.

You see, I’m thinking of strapping this beast down, placing a juicy steak at the junction of the femurs and pelvis, and letting your dog go to town:

Police said in court papers that the mother had used a sharp instrument to cut off the boy’s genitals. The instrument was not identified.

Katherine “The Dachsund Did It” Nadal, Dog Food

And I don’t care about the drugs in her system. That bullshit excuse doesn’t fly around here, so don’t even try to bring it with me.

Death Recommended for John Couey

Death is the right thing for this disgusting, walking, talking piece of human waste, legally at least.

But NO PUNISHMENT, no matter how harsh will ever replace the beautiful, sweet girl he buried alive after raping her, throwing her in a closet and covering her with bags and burying her.

Will the judge listen to a jury who - 10 to 2 - recommended execution? I certainly hope so. But no matter what, he gets an appeal. And her family gets to suffer through more publicity while defense attorneys bring up the need to be merciful. I don’t care if the guy has an IQ of 20, he violently raped and murdered a 9 year old girl and, because of that, should never be allowed to see sunlight again Or to breathe. Or to experience life, even if behind bars. The best justice would be burying the bastard in a bag alive and see how he likes it.

No matter what, the ultimate judge and jury will decide his fate. And there will likely be no appeals.

Charges Pending in Phoenix ‘Baseline Killer’ Deaths

Mark Goudeau, who is a suspect in a sexual assault case has potentially been linked to the Baseline Killer deaths, a string of deaths that occurred around Phoenix between August 2005 and June 2006. It seems as though the world may have become just a tad bit safer.

Phoenix Police Chief Jack Harris said investigators are recommending that Mark Goudeau be charged with 71 criminal counts, including murder.

Goudeau has been in custody since September, when he was arrested in connection with the 2005 sexual assaults of two sisters — one of whom was pregnant — in a south Phoenix park.

The assaults were among the crimes linked to the Baseline Killer case, one of two serial killer cases that had been unsolved in the Phoenix area. Two men were arrested in connection with the other group of shootings earlier this year.

The Baseline Killer case originally included 23 shootings, rapes and robberies that left eight people dead between August 2005 and June. The dead, seven of them women, ranged in ages from 19 to 39. They were killed going about their daily activities: leaving work, washing a car or waiting at a bus stop.

They’ve also recently added a ninth murder to the list of those who died at the hands of this predator.

Of course, the police’s interest in him as part of this case doesn’t go without criticism:

After his arrest, Goudeau’s wife, Wendy Carr, criticized Phoenix police and the mayor for their handling of the case, saying accusations “have been spilled into the streets with complete disregard for the truth.”

Let’s just see what the evidence tells us, ma’am. And then perhaps the jury and the judge.

Vinson Filyaw - Bond Denied in Kidnapping Case

The kidnapper of a 14-year girl, Vinson Filyaw, 36, is showing no remorse and is not being cooperative. Luckily bond was denied for him. Thank goodness the 14-year-old was resourceful enough she was able to send a text message to her mom, likely saving her life!

Filyaw had been eluding police since being charged last year with criminal sexual conduct involving a 12-year-old girl. He now faces additional charges including kidnapping, criminal sexual conduct and impersonating an officer.

So this guy is - guess what - a repeat offender. You *cannot* convince me these monsters who prey on our kids are able to be rehabilitated so PLEASE quit trying. The reason they reoffend? We don’t have harsh enough sentences. These people need to be put away for good. There isn’t a pill or a treatment for lack of remorse or lack of a conscience.

Why Child Abuse Should Carry Harsher Sentences

This is heart-wrenching:

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A woman and her roommate were charged with starving the woman’s 9-year-old daughter, who weighed just 42 pounds when she was found, was locked up all day and was forced to wear a filthy diaper, authorities said.

My 8-year-old weighs 75 pounds. This little girl’s life had to be a living hell for her.

The girl was so emaciated that her spine and ribcage were showing when state child welfare officials took her June 30, police said.

The girl also had her hands bound behind her, was locked in a bedroom all day and wore a diaper that went unchanged for hours, officials said. She told police it was punishment for bad behavior.

“It’s a very disturbing case,” police Detective Joe DeLuca said. “You see very few like this.”

The girl now lives with her grandparents and has gained about 25 pounds in a month.

Melissa Samoraj, 27, and Raymond LaFountain, 31, were arrested Wednesday.

To me, these criminals deserve no less than life in prison without a chance of parole (and that’s the minimum sentence in my mind). This child is forever changed emotionally and perhaps physically because of their abuse. If this child can have a “normal life” taken from her, why do these criminals deserve better?

*This* is Why Pedophiles Need Tougher Sentences

This case makes me sick to my stomach and pisses me off all at the same time.

OMAHA, Neb. — The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a child pornography case.

Investigators confiscated numerous items, including computers, from a Sarpy County home, NewsWatch 7 has learned.

Police said they will be serving an arrest warrant issued for James L. Miller. Miller faces 100 counts of possession of sexually explicit conduct. Police said most of the victims seen in the photos removed from Miller’s home are boys.

Okay. So this sick freak is in posession of enough sexually explicit material involving boys that they can charge him with 100 counts. If he’s convicted, guess what the sentence is?

The charges can mean a five-year prison sentence and fine of $10,000.

Shoot. Many crimes that are less harmful carry stiffer penalties than that. And this guy is a midgets football coach. I’ll bet he *never* thought of doing anything to those boys he coached.

But WTF about this?

Investigators said they know where Miller is, but have not yet arrested him because he is “indisposed,” but they would elaborate on where Miller is.

GET THIS GUY OFF THE STREETS, PLEASE! One wonders what he is doing when he is “indisposed.”

He was supposed to be coaching the Beef’s playoff game, but officials said a family member had told the Beef that Miller was having personal problems and would not be at the game.

Really? Personal problems? Um, unlike the ACLU (ahem…can you say NAMbLA?) I think being a pedophile is most definitely a personal problem.

And I Quote: “Small Sex Offender Listed As Big Risk”

Most of you remember the story of the notorious 5′1″ sex offender, Richard Thompson, and his favorite fan and judge Kristine Cecava. If you need a refresher, you can stop over here. The “Cliff’s Notes” version: Judge Cecava felt sorry for shorty, who happens to be a pedophile (sex offender, child molester, etc.) and chose to give him PROBATION because he might be picked on in the prison yard for being a little guy. The story made national news and put my state of Nebraska on the map…nice, huh? Anyway, the sentence is being appealed by Attorney General Jon Bruning. ..and now, an update.

The title of this post was a very fitting headline over at KETV for good reason. The State Patrol has classified Thompson as a Class Three offender, which has the highest risk to reoffend.

As a Class Three offender, Thompson’s name, address and photo are posted on the State Patrol’s public registry and he must notify the state, through the local sheriff, of any change of address and other information.

Attorney General Jon Bruning’s office has filed an appeal of Thompson’s probation sentence.

The judge’s decision not to imprison Thompson brought local and national criticism.

C’mon judicial system. Do the right thing here. Keep this predator off the street away from kids.

Jessica’s Law

I received a comment on one of my Jessica’s Law posts recently. Here’s the comment:

Jessica’s Law
You should look at Californians Against Jessica’s Law at http://www.nojessicaslaw.org/ to find out the real reasons for Jessica’s Law

Being interested in what anyone has to say on Jessica’s Law, especially those against it, I followed the link. I can’t even believe that such a site exsists, that there are people who think like this. They start out sounding reasonable:

Adult rape and the sexual abuse of a child are horrible, inexcusable crimes. No one in their right mind would argue this fact. The victims of sex crimes deserve our compassion, sympathy, and full support. We of Californians Against Jessica’s Law (CAJL) would never wish to add to the anguish, tragedy, and harm true victims have endured.

BUT….it continues with the following:

However; in the last three decades the hysteria over sex crimes, both real and fabricated, has become political and huge profits are being made off of the detection. apprehension, prosecution, defense, incarceration, supervision, control, and treatment of the sex offender and those wrongly convicted. The Sex Crime Witch Hunt Nightmare, as it is now known, is a multi-million dollar industry in California. With these kinds of profits to be made, The Sex Crime Witch Hunt Nightmare, has caught tens of thousands of innocent men and women in It’s ever widening web who now must endure the life-long Scarlet Letter of being a convicted sex offender.

The Sex Crime Witch Hunt Nightmare?!!? An industry? What kind of nonsense is that? The whole purpose of Jessica’s Law is to protect children. This group sounds as though they could care less about children.

63,000+ Californians are now required by law to register with the police as convicted sex offenders and this number continues to grow daily with no end in sight. These tens of thousands must also submit to sex offender community notification that plasters their faces, descriptions, and other personal information all over the internet warning their communities of their presence.

Well, isn’t that a shame? Poor ol’ sex offenders. What about the children who have had their lives ruined by these animals?

The drivel just goes on and on…apparently Jessica’s Law is all about money. Those GPS shackle people are fixing to make a fortune. OMG, is that not the stupidest thing you’ve ever heard?

Now, I try to be fair, so I did a bit of searching on California and Jessica’s Law, and on the poor 63,000 sex offenders. Here’s part of what I learned.

Thank you for helping qualify Jessica’s Law, the Sexual Predator Punishment and Control Act of 2006 for the ballot! We turned in 713,787 signatures accross the state. Here are some photos from the Sacramento signature turn in event:

Sexual Predator Punishment and Control Act of 2006 — Jessica’s Law

California has currently 63,000 registered sex offenders. One in every four sex offenders in California are currently missing.

How can we protect our children if we don’t even know where the sex offenders are?

One in four are MISSING?! And tracking these people is a bad idea?

I myself live in Florida, and thank God we have Jessica’s Law here. No, it’s not perfect, to be sure. But I think it’s acting as a deterrant, at least. And as for plastering faces on the internet, I’m all for it. I have three kids, if there’s sex offenders living close to me, I want to know where they are and what they look like, so that my family can be properly protected.

If you’re interested in Jessica’s Law, Bill O’Reilly has done a wonderful job publicizing it, and has information on which states are doing a good job, and which ones aren’t. I’m sad to say that Vermont is still not doing a thing to protect our kids. Makes me glad I moved to Florida.

Nothing Could Be Finer

Than this bill in Carolina.

(AP) The South Carolina House on Wednesday passed a pair of bills that would allow prosecutors to seek the death penalty for some repeat child molesters.

Support for the package picked up steam after a man was charged with kidnapping two girls and raping them in a dungeon behind his home earlier this year.

The related measures could send to death row offenders convicted twice of raping a child younger than 11.

I wholeheartedly support the death penalty for child molesters.

In a way, child molesters are worse than murderers. A murderer kills, and his victim, while no longer with us, goes to a better place. Even if you’re an atheist, you can’t disagree that death is a relief for the victims of some murderers.

A child molester is worse, because their living victim has to suffer the trauma for their actions their entire lives. 60, 70, 80 years and more. And a child molester to me somewhat akin to a murderer. The child molester murders the innocence of the child.

So yeah, I wholeheartedly support this bill in South Carolina. I hope our lawmakers do something similar.
