Justice…It’s Worth A Shot

Does anyone remember Lori Drew?

Drew allegedly helped create a false-identity MySpace account to contact Megan Meier, who thought she was chatting with a 16-year-old boy named “Josh Evans.”

Megan, 13, hanged herself at home in October 2006 after receiving cruel messages, including one stating the world would be better off without her.

Of course she denies creating the account and these cruel behaviors. There’s at least enough for an indictment:

A federal grand jury in Los Angeles indicted a Missouri woman Thursday for her alleged role in a MySpace hoax on a teen neighbor who committed suicide after being spurned by the “boy” in the fake profile.

Lori Drew, of Dardenne Prairie near St. Louis, was charged with one count of conspiracy and three counts of accessing protected computers without authorization to obtain information to inflict emotional distress on the girl.

I don’t know how solid this case is against her, but I’m happy that efforts are being made to punish this crime. Do I think the maximum sentence of up to 20 years would be enough if she’s found guilty? Not really. A grown woman doing something that was much more cruel than a teenager could even contemplate is simply revolting. The internet plays an ever-growing part in every day life and kids should feel just as safe there as they would in their own backyards - I’m not crazy and I do know it’s a long way off to reach that goal, but it’s unfortunate that anyone would behave this way, much less an adult that should be setting the example, not pushing a 13-year-old to hang herself.

Tragic Omaha Shooting

You can go to pretty much any news website and find the story…..Nine dead and five injured in Omaha mall shooting. I don’t need to link anything.

The mall isn’t too far from our neighborhood. I heard a couple of stories from people who either missed the shooting by a few minutes (one had been in the store minutes before the shootings) or who had worked at the store and knew employees there. Omaha’s not an especially huge community, so there truly seems to be connections to everyone.

Trying to get in touch with loved ones was hard - the phone circuits were overloaded, so getting through was a miracle at best. Silly things like traffic jams truly called out that something was different as I was driving home from work, a trip that takes me right by the mall.

The shooter - a 19-year-old “troubled kid” - wanted to “go out in style” according to one of his “suicide notes.” I refuse to bring any kind of notoriety to his name, so you won’t see it listed here because that’s exactly what he wanted - he alerted another person in a communication “I’m going to be a star.” FUCK HIM. How dare he take the lives of innocent people to live out some twisted fantasy of his! If he wants to pull the trigger on himself, so be it…the world is likely a bit safer without this maniac in it. But based on the frantic family members trying to learn about their loved ones, this jerk affected many, many people in a very profound and sad way. My heart goes out to those family members and friends who lost someone in this senseless act of violence. Also for those who were traumatized by this act, and for those rescue workers and police officers who are undoubtedly impacted by this. I will be praying for all of you!

I’ll be honest. I’m tired of the bullshit excuses already coming in. He was troubled, he was depressed, he had a rough life. Think about it - how many people in life are troubled, depressed, and have experienced challenging issues? There are many…and they don’t shoot people in an effort to gain notoriety or “popularity.” This was someone extremely broken, sick and disgustingly selfish and self-serving. I understand he’s a son, he’s a friend, but he’s also a MURDERER. He CERTAINLY didn’t think of his friends or his family when he selfishly pulled the trigger, while looking into the terrified faces of those he decided to shoot. THAT will be the bullshit notoriety he’s leaving behind.

The Other Terrorists

Riley Ann Sawyers, age two. Murdered by her mother and stepfather.

In a statement to police included in the affidavit, Trenor, 19, said she and Zeigler, 24, killed Riley July 24.

The girl was beaten with leather belts, had her head held underwater in a bathtub and then was thrown across a room, her head slamming into a tile floor, Trenor said in the document. She said they kept the body in a storage shed for one to two months before they put it in a plastic bin and dumped it into Galveston Bay.

Why isn’t there a Gitmo for these types of people?

Stories like this are why leftist squeals about waterboarding fall on my deaf ears. Just watch, these two oxygen wasters will probably get light sentences for involuntary manslaughter. They surely won’t get the death penalties that they both richly deserve.

If their burned bodies were hanging from a Fallujah bridge, I would rightfully declare “Screw ‘em.”

“…she had taken good care of the children…”

…so is that why she drown them both in the bathtub?

CLEVELAND — A 2-year-old girl and her 4-year-old sister were apparently drowned in a bathtub Monday, and their mother was arrested, police said.

A man who said he is the girls’ father told investigators the woman called him at work and said their children “are at peace,” said Cleveland police Lt. Thomas Stacho.

Another tragic end to the lives of two beautiful children at the hands of a parent. I’m certain she’s going to pull out the “Andrea Yates” M.O. - I was depressed, the devil made me do it, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.

Deondra Hurt, 19, who lives in the same two-story apartment building, said she heard the girls’ father screaming and shouting. She later went to the apartment and saw their mother “on a couch, and she was just sitting there. She was a nice girl. It’s real sad.”

Stacho said the girls apparently drowned, but autopsies were pending Tuesday to officially determine the causes of death. The county coroner was trying to confirm the victims’ correct names Monday.

Hurt said the woman had taken good care of the children.

“She always had her kids dressed up, with hair done every day,” Hurt said. “They were well-behaved kids. They played jump rope and would write on the ground with chalk.”

Yep, Andrea Yates took care of her kids, too. And now she’s living the rest of her life sharing fond memories about her children…yes, the children she methodically murdered by drowning them in the bathtub. She’s not in prison, but in an institution because she was found “not guilty” by reason of insanity. I’m guessing that will be the plea in this case as well. In the mean time, please say a prayer for the two little girls who no longer breathe, play, or dress up. They will never see their 5th birthday. They will never have a boyfriend, they won’t be cheerleaders, they won’t ever marry, go to school, or have children of their own. Thanks, Mom.

Mary Winkler Gets Supervised Visits With Her Children

So I read on Fox News that Mary Winkler will be getting supervised visits with her children. You may not recall, but Mary Winkler was the “wife” who shot her minister husband IN THE BACK, let him bleed to death for 20 minutes while these children were IN THE HOUSE (emphasis mine).

A psychologist at Winkler’s trial testified she suffers from post-traumatic stress syndrome because of domestic abuse coupled with emotional damage from the death of a favored sister years earlier.

Winkler told the judge she wants to be reunited with her daughters to help them deal with the emotional trauma of their father’s death. The children are in the temporary custody of Matthew Winkler’s parents who want to adopt them over their mother’s objections.

That is just rich. She wants to help them deal with the emotional trauma of their father’s death?!?!?! How the hell is *that* conversation going to start out? “Kids, I know I shot your father in the back and killed him while you were in the house, but let’s get over it and move on. Care for some more spaghetti?” WTF? They should remain in the custody of Matthew Winkler’s parents who have every friggin’ right to be upset about this scenario. The children have only seen her a couple of times since she murdered her husband (who, of course is being accused of abusing her even though he now has no ability to defend himself and she never filed any kind of report while he was living).

Keith Ablow, a forensic psychiatrist, told the judge that Winkler’s mental condition is still unstable though she has undergone counseling since her conviction and is taking medication.

“I have no confidence that we know where Mrs. Winkler is clinically today, let alone six weeks from now or six years from now,” said Ablow, who has a syndicated TV show bearing his name.

I’m sure this is the reason for “supervised visits” but supervised visits, if they are perceived to go well will move to the next level, and so on. How can this be in the best interests of these children? Please, can someone explain that to me???

Mary Winkler said “”We can begin healing together and let God guide us.” I would not be surprised if some idiotic judge awards this woman full custody of these kids. GOD HELP THEM if it happens. They are going to need all the help they can get.

Mary Winkler…Justice Served?

Mary “Shot My Husband in the Back” Winkler is free after receiving 12 days in jail and 55 days in a mental health facility.

Mary Winkler, the Tennessee woman who shot her minister husband to death while he slept, was released back into society this week after serving just 67 days, most of it in a prison hospital.

Alright….so all the “poor Mary Winkler” people are going to be up in arms because I think this is a prime example of why the judicial system is so, well, broken.

Folks, this woman shot her husband in the back while he was sleeping. She let them lay there for 20 minutes while he bled to death. Their children were in the home when it happened and when she knew he was dead she packed up the kids and ran away. The experts are even saying they wouldn’t feel comfortable giving this woman a clean bill of health (i.e. she might kill again).

Consider this [emphasis mine]:

“Justice was definitely not served here,” Pirro told Vieira. “You had a preacher, who by all accounts was loved in his community, who was shot in the back while he slept. You have a woman who says she was abused with no history, no shred of evidence.

Matthew Winkler was a minister at the Fourth Street Church of Christ, a denomination that believes in a literal interpretation of the Bible, including Saint Paul’s teaching that women should be submissive to their husbands.

Mary Winkler’s attorneys claimed that she was beaten by her husband. She said at her trial that he made her watch pornographic videos and wear “slutty” outfits for sex. She said he was controlling and criticized her constantly.

At the time of the killing, the couple had been having arguments about their finances. Prosecutors introduced evidence that Mary Winkler had gotten involved in an online Nigerian check-kiting fraud and had written checks for thousands of dollars. That, the prosecution argued, was the real source of the friction in the marriage.

But the defense said there had been continuing abuse.

“What’s interesting, Meredith, at the trial, she took out a pair of high heels and she said, ‘This is how I was abused. He made me wear these heels when we were intimate with each other,’” Pirro said. “That’s not abuse. This is ridiculous.”

Alright…so let me get this straight. One human being is allowed to kill another human being when:

A person says they are abused.

Um, there was no evidence.

A man “makes” a woman watch pr0n

Oh, wow….what a reason to kill someone, especially the father of your own children!

A husband would like his wife to wear “slutty” outfits for sex.

Sheer torture, for sure! I think that’s the first time I ever heard of a man who would like his wife to dress provocatively for sex [insert sarcasm here].

That darn husband was controlling and critical.

Solution: Shoot him in the back while he’s sleeping, let him bleed to death for 20 minutes.

Arguing about finances

If this is an excuse for murder, wouldn’t more women be shot for going shopping at Kohl’s?!?

Wearing high heels

Methinks the designers should take all the responsibility for high heels. No, really!

Anyway….all this to say that there is not one reason this woman should be walking free today. Thanks so much, jurors! There are hundreds of cases of horrific spousal abuse that happen regularly. It’s awful that this can happen, but it isn’t a one-way ticket to a murder spree either. Go to a shelter, file for divorce, report the abuse, grow some balls…you have children to protect from such a thing! I can only imagine the 911 call “oh, wow…please help me! My bastard of a husband is making me wear 4″ stilettos again! OH THE ABUSE!!!” …and this woman is fighting against the grandparents, who have filed for full custody of the kids. HOW DARE SHE. She murdered her husband while they were in the house. If she’s positioning herself to get full custody of the kids, and if a judge awarded it to her, it would be by far the most ridiculously STUPID judge ever. I wouldn’t trust her in my own city, let alone with my kids anywhere near her. I wouldn’t want my husband within shooting distance, either.

“In 60 days you can start somebody on a medicine if you felt that he or she was depressed,” he said. “You can see the results of that medication kicking in. You might be able to do psychological testing to see if there’s any underlying delusion or fixed and false belief like paranoia. What you can’t do, you can’t predict the future with anything like certainty.”

If she’s capable of killing once, what makes these people think that she won’t do it again?!?!?!? There’s something broken inside of her. And don’t give me the old PP-depression script again. That is a slap in the face to the millions of women who manage their symptoms every day and don’t manage to shoot their spouses in the back, while they are sleeping, and watch them bleed to death for 20 minutes.

Seriously, though, justice was NOT served here…and if you see her in Tennessee and you are getting your dry cleaning done, just don’t turn your back on her or you’ll be sorry!!

The Most Obvious Headline Ever

The headline… Studies: Death Penalty Discourages Crime

::: slaps head ::: Whodathunkit?

An excerpt:

What gets little notice, however, is a series of academic studies over the last half-dozen years that claim to settle a once hotly debated argument — whether the death penalty acts as a deterrent to murder. The analysts say yes. They count between three and 18 lives that would be saved by the execution of each convicted killer.

But the life of a criminal is more valuable than those three to 18 lives for our society, or so it seems by everyone’s desire to abolish the death penalty.

And the co-author of the study is against the death penalty!

“Science does really draw a conclusion. It did. There is no question about it,” said Naci Mocan, an economics professor at the University of Colorado at Denver. “The conclusion is there is a deterrent effect.”

A 2003 study he co-authored, and a 2006 study that re-examined the data, found that each execution results in five fewer homicides, and commuting a death sentence means five more homicides. “The results are robust, they don’t really go away,” he said. “I oppose the death penalty. But my results show that the death penalty (deters) — what am I going to do, hide them?

I encourage you to read the rest of this story, which follows by outlining conclusions and the various levels of argument for the flip side. The morality issues, the “flawed” methodology, etc.

It’s really common sense to me. Yes, serious and speedy consequences to a situation will deter future criminals to consider the same crime. When there are no serious or speedy consequences that make a criminal pause, they will continue down the path, willing to take the consequences. Am I cold blooded for wanting to protect innocent people from murderers? I personally don’t think so. I only wish society could see the consequences for their decision to let these criminals off with a slap versus a real sentence.

Angels are With You, Kelsey Smith

It appears that an already tragic story of abduction had an even more tragic end:

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Police are searching for a killer after discovering the body of who they believe is missing 18-year-old Kelsey Smith, who disappeared four days ago.

Members of a Texas-based search team found the body across state lines near Grandview, Mo., about 20 miles from where she was abducted.

“Pending completion of a forensics examination, we have reason to believe we have found Kelsey Smith,” Overland Police Chief John Douglass said during a press conference Wednesday. “I promised them [the family] we will continue every effort to solve this case … and to bring her killer to justice.”

These types of cases infuriate me. Look at that picture. She was a girl that appeared to be so full of joy, so full of life, with a promising future ahead of her. How DARE some disgusting pig of a human being make the decision to take that all away? Who do they think they are? I hope they find the freak that did this to her and I hope that someone has the GUTS to punish them in the way they should be…no “poor criminal” or “not guilty by reason of insanity” crap. I’m so sick of hearing it. These criminals are fueled not only by pure evil, but by the flames that are fanned every day in the justice system. When we don’t give these murdering bastards REAL CONSEQUENCES, they know they can do what they want to do without fear of a punishment that truly fits the crime.

God bless Kelsey’s family and friends. I cannot even begin to understand your pain, but I’m praying for you. I know that if they confirm Kelsey is gone, be comforted that she has been in the arms of angels and feels the joy that she was meant to have here with you. I pray that you can find some peace in all of this. I also pray that they find the beast who did this so others will be safe.

Update: Looks like they may have caught the bastard:

A 26-year-old man seen on a video surveillance tape was charged Thursday with premeditated first-degree murder and aggravated kidnapping in connection to the death of recent high school graduate Kelsey Smith, who disappeared from a Target parking lot in Overland Park, Kan.

Police arrested Edwin Hall, 26, on Wednesday night after he appeared on a security camera video shortly before Smith, 18, walked out of Target and was forced into a car last Saturday.

May the family find even a small amount of comfort in knowing it is entirely possible that Kelsey’s killer has now been found and removed from society.

Death Recommended for John Couey

Death is the right thing for this disgusting, walking, talking piece of human waste, legally at least.

But NO PUNISHMENT, no matter how harsh will ever replace the beautiful, sweet girl he buried alive after raping her, throwing her in a closet and covering her with bags and burying her.

Will the judge listen to a jury who - 10 to 2 - recommended execution? I certainly hope so. But no matter what, he gets an appeal. And her family gets to suffer through more publicity while defense attorneys bring up the need to be merciful. I don’t care if the guy has an IQ of 20, he violently raped and murdered a 9 year old girl and, because of that, should never be allowed to see sunlight again Or to breathe. Or to experience life, even if behind bars. The best justice would be burying the bastard in a bag alive and see how he likes it.

No matter what, the ultimate judge and jury will decide his fate. And there will likely be no appeals.

David Carroll, Jr.

Plea deal in killing of foster child

CINCINNATI Defense lawyers and prosecutors say an Ohio man will plead guilty to murdering a foster son who was left tied up in a closet.

Under a plea deal, David Carroll Junior would get 15 years to life, plus another year for gross abuse of a corpse. The judge will have to approve the agreement tomorrow.

Carroll’s wife was convicted last week of murder and other charges and got 54 years to life. Authorities say the pair left the developmentally disabled three-year-old bound cocoon-like in a closet for three days while they went to a family reunion. The boy was dead when they returned, and Carroll burned the body, dumping the remains in a river.

But the couple told police he either wandered off or was kidnapped — prompting thousands of volunteers to go on a pointless search.

Now wait just a damned minute here! Key words; “the PAIR”. The PAIR left the child bound in a closet for three days. The bastards acted TOGETHER, yet he’s only getting 16 years? They both should receive the same sentence, which should have been life (unless death were an option.)

The more I hear this shit, the less I understand.

Doctor “Death” Kevorkian Scheduled for June Parole

So I’m scanning through my various news sites and come across an article discussing Jack Kevorkian’s scheduled June 1, 2007 parole date.

LANSING, Mich. — Assisted suicide advocate Jack Kevorkian will be paroled in June, state Corrections spokesman Leo Lalonde said Wednesday.

Kevorkian, who claimed to have assisted in at least 130 deaths in the 1990s, was imprisoned in 1999 for his role in the last of the deaths.

The ailing former pathologist has promised he would not assist in a suicide if he was released from prison. He is 78, and has been eligible all along for parole on June 1, 2007.

The state parole board has turned down four of Kevorkian’s requests for parole.

Lalonde did not reveal any other details and directed calls to Russ Marlan, another spokesman for the department. A message seeking comment was left with Marlan Wednesday afternoon.

If Kevorkian is released on June 1, he will have spent close to 3,000 days, or a little more than eight years, in prison since being sentenced in April 1999.

I can remember those cases and the strong media attention. I felt back then that his role in the death of the elderly who was suffering was inappropriate. I wasn’t quite sure, though. There was always this lingering doubt about whether his clients felt that he was helping them get out of the painful, miserable situation they were in. I’ve got to tell you, though, a lot has changed for me in the last eight years.

I’m the proud mother of two little ones. Life is a precious gift. Who should feel it is within their reason and power to take that away from another human being - no matter the reason, no matter the request?

Terri Schiavo. This was a woman full of life, who was being provided care. But could smile, knew who was around her, could interact. And her ex-husband had her starved to death….all to be “compassionate” to her. His decision to quit feeding her killed her and her death should weigh heavily on his shoulders, as well as the judge’s.

Ailing family members. My mom died of cancer coming up on two years ago. My hubby’s mom has Alzheimer’s. His dad has cancer. I can speak mostly of my mom. She made the choice to accept hospice. Hospice care truly delivers on a commitment to help a dying patient be comfortable the rest of their life. And they are there for the family. I couldn’t have ever imagined my mom, even if the most painful part of her illness calling some so-called “mercy” doctor up and saying “please kill me.” Did she want to be comfortable? Absolutely. But she wanted to spend as much time with us as she could, too. Because my mother-in-law has alzheimers and might not remember things from moment to moment and requires around the clock care does it make her life any less valuable? NO!

Kevorkian’s approach to life was to snuff it out - at a time when a patient is so vulnerable they cannot always make a clear, well thought out decision. So that being said, I now, after these 8 years, have no doubts. The guy honestly should rot in prison. But we should feel sorry for him, right?

Kevorkian is being held at the Lakeland Correctional Facility in Coldwater, about 100 miles west-southwest of Detroit. Morganroth said in June that Kevorkian’s weight had dropped to 113 pounds and that he was suffering from hepatitis C and diabetes.

Kevorkian appeared before the parole board Dec. 7 at the Lakeland facility. The vote to parole him June 1 was unanimous, Morganroth said Wednesday.

As he did in previous hearings, Kevorkian told the parole board he would not assist in any suicides if released, Morganroth said. The Southfield attorney also repeated arguments that Kevorkian’s multiple and worsening health problems have left him with less than a year to live.

“I think they believed him — that he would never do it again. I think they understand he is not well, that he should be treated at a proper facility outside prison,” Morganroth said.

How ironic that we should feel bad for a guy who is in jail for his crime of killing vulnerable people. Now that he is vulnerable and in ill health they think he should be treated at a “proper facility.” We should be compassionate, no? Thank God I’ve never been as compassionate as Kevorkian is.

Charges Pending in Phoenix ‘Baseline Killer’ Deaths

Mark Goudeau, who is a suspect in a sexual assault case has potentially been linked to the Baseline Killer deaths, a string of deaths that occurred around Phoenix between August 2005 and June 2006. It seems as though the world may have become just a tad bit safer.

Phoenix Police Chief Jack Harris said investigators are recommending that Mark Goudeau be charged with 71 criminal counts, including murder.

Goudeau has been in custody since September, when he was arrested in connection with the 2005 sexual assaults of two sisters — one of whom was pregnant — in a south Phoenix park.

The assaults were among the crimes linked to the Baseline Killer case, one of two serial killer cases that had been unsolved in the Phoenix area. Two men were arrested in connection with the other group of shootings earlier this year.

The Baseline Killer case originally included 23 shootings, rapes and robberies that left eight people dead between August 2005 and June. The dead, seven of them women, ranged in ages from 19 to 39. They were killed going about their daily activities: leaving work, washing a car or waiting at a bus stop.

They’ve also recently added a ninth murder to the list of those who died at the hands of this predator.

Of course, the police’s interest in him as part of this case doesn’t go without criticism:

After his arrest, Goudeau’s wife, Wendy Carr, criticized Phoenix police and the mayor for their handling of the case, saying accusations “have been spilled into the streets with complete disregard for the truth.”

Let’s just see what the evidence tells us, ma’am. And then perhaps the jury and the judge.

Did O.J. Do It?

So here we are, around a decade later, a book deal and an interivew on Fox.

O.J. Simpson plans a book and TV interview to discuss how, hypothetically, he could have killed his ex-wife and her friend.

It’s a story his publisher, Judith Regan, considers “his confession.”

But two weeks before the book, “If I Did It,” goes on sale, scorn is being heaped on Simpson, Regan and Fox, which plans to air the two-part Simpson interview on Nov. 27 and 29. NBC passed on it.

It was a crazy thing, that long ago. The case was broadcast on TV and was loaded with so much acting you’d have thought it was Hollywood. Remember Judge Ito and the Ito dancers (strike that, wrong show). But really, why do we have to revisit this story, unless it’s yet another attempt by O.J. Simpson to cash in on the notoriety that came with this media circus? Could he have possibly forgotten that Nicole has relatives and friends who already have to live with the pain of losing her every day of their lives?

So is this his confession? Since he’s protected through double-jeopardy, I would never rule it out. But if it truly is his “confession” I think O.J. is one of the most disgusting, evil, crass human beings ever. To take advantage of this situation, to make a mockery of two people’s murders is, by far, a blatant slap in the face of the judicial system as well as of Nicole and Ron’s family and friends.

And shame on you, Fox, for giving this bullshit artist the time of day.

A great judge!

Tim Holland sentenced for son’s death

Updated: Nov 15, 2006 12:46 PM EST

LANSING — Tim Holland was sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison for his role in the death of his son, Ricky, in 2005.

YAY! Clap, clap, clap!

Holland pled guilty to second-degree murder, but the sentencing was delayed until after the trial of his wife, Lisa, who was found guilty in October.

Judge Paula Manderfield was not swayed by Tim Holland’s tears or pleas or letter of reference. Even she choked up as she closed this chapter of a very sad story.

Hmmm…a jury of his “peers” were not swayed either.

Holland began crying as soon as he began speaking to the judge. “What I did was wrong,” he said. “I failed my son. I failed as a father and I failed as a human being when I did not stop my wife from abusing my son, which led to his death.”

Which is precisely WHY you’re getting what you’re getting, and going where you’re going.

He became the star witness against his wife, testifying she abused Ricky for years before hammering him to death. Tim admitted he hid Ricky’s body and covered up the murder for six months before he began to cooperate with investigators.

Fucking scum.

In handing down her sentence, Judge Manderfield went beyond the guidelines of 13.5 to 22 years in prison. “I believe you, Mr. Holland are just as guilty for Ricky’s death as Lisa Holland.”

Amen, and THANK YOU, Judge Manderfield!

When Lisa is sentenced later this month, the judge will have no option but to sentence her to life in prison.

I’ve heard that the “family” that abuses together STAYS together (for 30-60 years).

Woman who drowned daughters to go free after two years

Woman who drowned daughters to go free after two years

PLANO, Texas A Texas woman who drowned her two children in 2003 has been ruled mentally stable and will be freed from a state hospital.

Yay! Just two years of treatment and she’s “better”

Lisa Diaz drowned her three-year-old and five-year-old daughters by holding their heads under water in the bathtub of their home. She was tried only in the older girl’s death and found not guilty by reason of insanity.

And what about her second child? Brushed aside so they could simply use and receive a not guilty by reason of insanity? BULLSHIT!

In ordering Diaz to be released, a judge said the 36-year-old must remain on medication and continue treatment.

Be sure and take your meds and keep your shrink appointments and have a nice life. BULLSHIT!

While the district attorney office’s opposed Diaz’s release, prosecutors said the judge had no choice. They say the decision underscores the need to reform the insanity defense so that intentional killers are held accountable for their actions.

Need to reform…..no f-ing shit! How about GUILTY, but insane! They get their “treatment”, they get “better”, they get moved on to prison to serve the term that would correspond with their crime. Pretty f-ing simple.
