The Other Terrorists

Riley Ann Sawyers, age two. Murdered by her mother and stepfather.

In a statement to police included in the affidavit, Trenor, 19, said she and Zeigler, 24, killed Riley July 24.

The girl was beaten with leather belts, had her head held underwater in a bathtub and then was thrown across a room, her head slamming into a tile floor, Trenor said in the document. She said they kept the body in a storage shed for one to two months before they put it in a plastic bin and dumped it into Galveston Bay.

Why isn’t there a Gitmo for these types of people?

Stories like this are why leftist squeals about waterboarding fall on my deaf ears. Just watch, these two oxygen wasters will probably get light sentences for involuntary manslaughter. They surely won’t get the death penalties that they both richly deserve.

If their burned bodies were hanging from a Fallujah bridge, I would rightfully declare “Screw ‘em.”

What Did He Do to Deserve This?

Of course he did NOTHING. He’s a 13-year-old child!

A Houston couple was charged Friday with the starvation and abuse of a 13-year-old boy they kept locked in their attic, MyFoxHouston reported.

Geneva Foster, the boy’s mother, and Michael Ryan, his stepfather, were arrested and charged with felony injury to a child for keeping the boy locked in a closet or attic without food, MyFoxHouston reported.

These miscreants also had four other children in their house, but they didn’t appear to be abused like this boy. What could this boy have done to deserve the treatment he got?

The boy also showed signs of brutal physical abuse — broken bones, bite scars and damage to his liver, pancreas and kidneys, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

A spokeswoman for Child Protective Services told MyFoxHouston that the boy weighed only 72 pounds and had the appearance of a 7-year-old when he was discovered, and that his only nourishment came from cans of diet supplement Ensure.

There has to be a special place in hell for people who would do something like this to a child. I think it’s awful no matter what, but the fact that this child was the mother’s OWN FLESH AND BLOOD makes it that much more disgusting to me. I pray that this boy finds some healing hugs and love…he’s going to need a lot of love and care to get through what has happened to him. He will carry these scars the rest of his life. How DARE these monsters do this to him!!! If I was in the position of handing out punishments, I’d lock these assholes in an attic with a case of diet Ensure, hire someone to beat the shit out them and conveniently lose the key. I hope they NEVER see the outside of prison ever again for what they have done.

Hunting Subhumans

KVBC (Las Vegas) reporter Jesse Corona is on the prowl for Chester Arthur “Chet” Stiles, the man seen in the four year old video molesting a three year old little girl.

We even talked to someone who claims she’s seen Stiles more recently.

Man from Salvation Army: He was here yesterday.

Jesse Corona: Yesterday?

Man from Salvation Army: Yeah. He stays here

Shelter staff posted Stiles’ mug shot on the wall. Reaction to hearing what he was wanted for was extreme. Many of the residents indicated if they found him first, he would be in rough shape by the time Metro was called.

Sounds to me like Chester Stiles isn’t the “survivalist” that he’s been made out to be. It also seems that he really isn’t all that impervious to a lack of electricity and water as was originally implied. But watch out, he carries a knife! Combat style, even!

I stand by what I said in my earlier post:

No, I believe Stiles is holed up in some seedy roach infested domicile with a neon sign that reads “otel” in the dark and that advertises weekly rates. Either that, or he’s holed up with a pedophile buddy. These scumbags stick together, just ask NAMBLA. I’d also guess he bundles up to go out in public, and scurries around furtively wondering if that convenience store clerk recognized his face.

While the Salvation Army isn’t necessarily a seedy roach infested domicile, it sure isn’t the Bellagio.

I also agree with Jesse Corona’s take on the mother that was posted on his blog which I linked above:

Tuesday we got the news the mother of the child victim would be issuing a statement through her attorney in an 11:30 press conference. The gist of that conference was that the mother wanted her family to be left alone and given space by the media. She (through her attorney) says she is worried about her daughter being victimized through the media. When I asked her attorney what about the actual victimization of her daughter that took place 4 years ago, (how could she not have seen any signs or known what was going on?) her attorney said he didn’t want to speculate, but she just didn’t. He also said she was a hard-working single mother who worked six days a week and left her child in the care of a nanny.

The mother speculates the abuse happened during that time, but also says Stiles was a distant family friend and never a caretaker. Mom also says she didn’t see any of the EXTENSIVE news coverage on every TV channel in every newspaper and had to be told her daughter was the girl in the video by a family friend.

Questions, questions. Why does Mom have to issue statements through an attorney? What exactly is a “distant family friend?” What about the nanny? If this happened when Mom was at work, didn’t this occur when the nanny was in charge? What did the nanny know and when did h/she know it?

The “hard working single mother who works six days a week” thing smells of “excuse” to me. What are they trying to convey, that only married, unemployed parents would notice that their three year old daughter was being abused sexually? Or the lazy single mother who only works 5 days a week, she’d notice?

Chester Arthur Stiles, Not The SEAL You Thought He Was: If You See This Man, Turn Him Over To The Las Vegas Salvation Army, Then Call The Las Vegas Police, But Wait Awhile

Oh, and thanks to commenter Sammii, Chester Arthur “Chet” Stiles was never a Navy SEAL

The quarry of a nationwide police manhunt, accused of videotaping himself raping a 3-year old girl, was never a Navy SEAL as he claimed and authorities have reported, the Navy said Tuesday.

It’s too bad for Mr. Stiles. He’s going to really need some survival skills once he hits the penitentiary.

“…she had taken good care of the children…”

…so is that why she drown them both in the bathtub?

CLEVELAND — A 2-year-old girl and her 4-year-old sister were apparently drowned in a bathtub Monday, and their mother was arrested, police said.

A man who said he is the girls’ father told investigators the woman called him at work and said their children “are at peace,” said Cleveland police Lt. Thomas Stacho.

Another tragic end to the lives of two beautiful children at the hands of a parent. I’m certain she’s going to pull out the “Andrea Yates” M.O. - I was depressed, the devil made me do it, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.

Deondra Hurt, 19, who lives in the same two-story apartment building, said she heard the girls’ father screaming and shouting. She later went to the apartment and saw their mother “on a couch, and she was just sitting there. She was a nice girl. It’s real sad.”

Stacho said the girls apparently drowned, but autopsies were pending Tuesday to officially determine the causes of death. The county coroner was trying to confirm the victims’ correct names Monday.

Hurt said the woman had taken good care of the children.

“She always had her kids dressed up, with hair done every day,” Hurt said. “They were well-behaved kids. They played jump rope and would write on the ground with chalk.”

Yep, Andrea Yates took care of her kids, too. And now she’s living the rest of her life sharing fond memories about her children…yes, the children she methodically murdered by drowning them in the bathtub. She’s not in prison, but in an institution because she was found “not guilty” by reason of insanity. I’m guessing that will be the plea in this case as well. In the mean time, please say a prayer for the two little girls who no longer breathe, play, or dress up. They will never see their 5th birthday. They will never have a boyfriend, they won’t be cheerleaders, they won’t ever marry, go to school, or have children of their own. Thanks, Mom.

Mary Winkler Gets Supervised Visits With Her Children

So I read on Fox News that Mary Winkler will be getting supervised visits with her children. You may not recall, but Mary Winkler was the “wife” who shot her minister husband IN THE BACK, let him bleed to death for 20 minutes while these children were IN THE HOUSE (emphasis mine).

A psychologist at Winkler’s trial testified she suffers from post-traumatic stress syndrome because of domestic abuse coupled with emotional damage from the death of a favored sister years earlier.

Winkler told the judge she wants to be reunited with her daughters to help them deal with the emotional trauma of their father’s death. The children are in the temporary custody of Matthew Winkler’s parents who want to adopt them over their mother’s objections.

That is just rich. She wants to help them deal with the emotional trauma of their father’s death?!?!?! How the hell is *that* conversation going to start out? “Kids, I know I shot your father in the back and killed him while you were in the house, but let’s get over it and move on. Care for some more spaghetti?” WTF? They should remain in the custody of Matthew Winkler’s parents who have every friggin’ right to be upset about this scenario. The children have only seen her a couple of times since she murdered her husband (who, of course is being accused of abusing her even though he now has no ability to defend himself and she never filed any kind of report while he was living).

Keith Ablow, a forensic psychiatrist, told the judge that Winkler’s mental condition is still unstable though she has undergone counseling since her conviction and is taking medication.

“I have no confidence that we know where Mrs. Winkler is clinically today, let alone six weeks from now or six years from now,” said Ablow, who has a syndicated TV show bearing his name.

I’m sure this is the reason for “supervised visits” but supervised visits, if they are perceived to go well will move to the next level, and so on. How can this be in the best interests of these children? Please, can someone explain that to me???

Mary Winkler said “”We can begin healing together and let God guide us.” I would not be surprised if some idiotic judge awards this woman full custody of these kids. GOD HELP THEM if it happens. They are going to need all the help they can get.

Paging Pit Bull Owners

If any of my readers have a really vicious dog, pit bull, rottweiller, whatever. I’d like to borrow it please.

You see, I’m thinking of strapping this beast down, placing a juicy steak at the junction of the femurs and pelvis, and letting your dog go to town:

Police said in court papers that the mother had used a sharp instrument to cut off the boy’s genitals. The instrument was not identified.

Katherine “The Dachsund Did It” Nadal, Dog Food

And I don’t care about the drugs in her system. That bullshit excuse doesn’t fly around here, so don’t even try to bring it with me.

Guilty Plea in Wife’s Suicide Plunge
Wednesday, March 28, 2007

By JIM FITZGERALD, Associated Press Writer

NEW CITY, N.Y. — A man accused of helping his wife commit suicide by allowing her to drive the family minivan off a 300-foot cliff with their children inside pleaded guilty Wednesday to child endangerment in a deal that will likely spare him any prison time.

Victor Han, 35, admitted in Rockland County Court that he knew his wife was putting herself and their children in danger when he stepped out of the vehicle last June at a scenic overlook at Bear Mountain.

His 35-year-old wife, Hejin Han, drove the minivan off the cliff, killing herself. The children, 5-year-old Ariana and 3-year-old Itana, were belted into car seats and survived without major injury.

State Supreme Court Justice William Kelly said the prosecution was recommending three years probation. The maximum sentence for an endangerment charge is 28 months to seven years in prison. Sentencing was set for June 6.

Three years probation? WTF??? What’s wrong with doing that time in prison or better yet, the maximum of 7 years?

Han, who remains free on $40,000 bail, walked out of court without commenting.

“He did this to get the case over, and not to force the family to go through the trauma (of a trial),” defense attorney Lawrence Goldman said of his client’s guilty plea.

Han, an architect living in New York City, is seeking full custody of the children and is currently seeing them at supervised visits, prosecutor Louis Valvo said.

In a statement to police, Han acknowledged that he had worried his wife was suicidal but said he got out of the minivan only to take pictures.

One might surmise that he had no idea that this would happen, he was just taking pictures. BUT, in his own statements, he claimed that he KNEW his wife was suicidal. Why risk leaving two young children with her?

He said that when the vehicle went over the edge, passing between two boulders placed to keep cars from skidding off the road, he called 911, ran down the cliff and rescued his daughters but could not revive his wife.

In exchange for Han’s guilty plea, additional charges of promoting a suicide and endangering children were dropped.

Again with the G.D. plea bargaining. The son of a bitch endangered his children! He said so himself! Now they drop the charge? And he’s seeking custody of the children? The judge had better think long and hard about that!

I was going to…

write about this:

Daughters Struggling After Mom Locked Them Away for 7 Years

or perhaps this:

Cops: Dad Beat Toddler Left in Pennsylvania Cold, Will Be Arraigned

But it’s just too much for me right now. I’m really missing my son right now and to think what these “parents” have done to their children just tears my heart. (Did you note the middle name of the precious 3 year old….Miangel…)

So on a much brighter note:

NYC Student’s Heart Starts Beating Days After Stopping

Yes, Virginia, there IS God!

“It Takes a Village”

The lastest on trying to make parents accountable can be found here:

A Republican state lawmaker from Baytown has filed a bill that would charge parents of public school students with a misdemeanor and fine them for playing hooky from a scheduled parent-teacher conference.

Rep. Wayne Smith said Wednesday he wants to get parents involved in their child’s education.

“I think it helps the kids for the parents and teachers to communicate. That’s all the intent was,” Smith said.

Let me make it clear. I’m against the idea of fining parents for not making a scheduled parent-teacher conference. It wouldn’t do any good in the long run and, quite honestly, only supports my concerns about prescribing the “right path” for society. It’s wrong not to come to parent-teacher conferences, so let’s fine the parents. People can’t figure out that trans-fat is unhealthy, so let’s ban it. Those poor workers at the diner. They can’t handle the smoke so let’s ban smoking so everyone is healthier (um, weren’t people smoking when you applied there?). And so on, and so on.

I think these problems go back a number of years, when people decided that it takes “a village” to raise kids. Once that was happening, why would the parents feel like they need to be involved, really? Won’t someone else take care of that? Why a conference with a teacher…how inconvenient when Mommy [Daddy] has a deadline for tomorrow?

My hubby and I are virtually drooled on by the teachers when both of us come to parent teacher conferences with our children so we can all talk together about their progress, focus in the classroom and what we can do to help them learn even more. It truly is sad that some parents aren’t involved. As parental responsibility has been delegated out amongst “the village” those parents with no backbones seem to have accepted their fate and given up having any influence, involvement or control over their child’s education, healthcare, social life, circle of friends, television habits, game playing, etc. Shoot, who needs Mom or Dad when all of that is prescribed, has a rating or a label saying it is okay for Mom or Dad to let their kids listen or watch it. Do I think it’s bullshit? Absolutely. But it’s a way of thinking I’ve seen many around me adopt. And it’s sad for the kids. And for their kids. And sad for us when we need to rely on them to manage our country, our money and our care.

How Would You Like to Be *HIS* Child?

…I wouldn’t want to be his wife, either. What a loser!

ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. — A Wyoming man could get up to 10 years in prison after being accused of using a made-up story last month about the death of his 2-year-old daughter to get time off from work.

Authorities in Rock Springs accuse Henry Eugene Bingham, 26, of pocketing more than $1,300 in donations from co-workers after they learned of the death. He’s charged with obtaining property by false pretenses, a felony.

According to court documents, the sheriff’s Department was contacted by the man’s boss, who said his employees had chipped in when Bingham told them during an Oct. 16 meeting that his daughter had fallen ill, been flown to Salt Lake City and died. The man said employees contributed $1,319, which Bingham took. He also said the labor union gave Bingham money the next day.

Someone from work called the house to offer condolances, and his wife answered, stating that their daughter was alive and well, thus blowing this dumb ass idiot’s “cover.” Lady, do yourself a favor and file for divorce. NOW. If he wants time off, he could have lied and said she was sick. He could have lied that *he* was sick. How awful that he would tell someone that his daughter had died, just to get time off. LOSER!

They Did It For His “Own Good”

I think people who beat their kids are evil. I think people who choose to spend little time with their kids for their own selfish reasons is pretty bad, too. But this couple….this vile, disgusting couple. There aren’t enough words to fully describe how awful they are.

JACKSONVILLE — The police description of the 9-year-old boy’s home sounds like a prison: he was locked in a bedroom for much of three years, did not attend school, had no friends and was watched by his father on a surveillance camera that tracked his every move.

The boy’s ordeal finally ended Wednesday when authorities arrested his father on child abuse and other charges. Officials now are trying to determine what led Randall Warren Piercy, 41, to allegedly treat his son that way and why no one stopped him.

…and why no one stopped him.

That would be the mother of this boy who saw him regularly but did NOTHING to save him…and possibly other relatives. The boy who was reportedly “home schooled” but at the age of nine couldn’t read a child’s book. A boy who was NEVER seen in the neighborhood by neighbors who had lived there 40+ years.

The Piercy home, located off a private rural road, had cameras in almost every room, with the father monitoring the boy on television and computer screens, sheriff’s Lt. Annie Smith said.

“According to our investigator, it appears that the Piercy home was a prison, and the child has never attended school, has no friends, does not receive medical attention, and may have been cut off from any human contact other than family,'’ Smith said.

Relatives shared stories such as the boy only being allowed to go to the bathroom once a day because the “dad” thought he needed to learn how to control his body. This “DAD” is being charged with aggravated child abuse, malicious punishment and unlawful caging of the boy. Of course this sick waste of a human being said he was being misjudged as he was doing this in the “best interest” of the boy. Oh, yeah. Methinks you were doing it because you are a heathen, a miscreant, and stand with one foot in the pit of hell. …and of course the “mother,” Michelle Piercy, hasn’t been charged with anything just yet. But read this and tell me she isn’t as guilty as the “Dad” is:

“We are very protective,'’ she said, adding that the cameras are so his parents can make sure he doesn’t hurt himself. She said the boy was hyperactive and was locked in his room at night to prevent him from going outside and getting hurt.

According to a police report, investigators were told Michelle Piercy allowed her husband to make all the decisions regarding the boy and that she doesn’t even know what size he wears or what television shows or games he likes. The report said her husband only let her see the boy at certain times and usually an hour a day.

Luckily an undercover investigator prompted this case to move forward. Unluckily, it’s likely there will never be enough justice served on behalf of a nine year old boy who was served a life sentence by the very people he was supposed to be able to trust.

Lakeia White, Murdering Mom

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. — Authorities in South Carolina said a woman confessed to killing her twin 9-month-old sons because they were crying in her bed.

Police said the mother, Lakeia White, 20, told them she went back to sleep after smothering the boys.

White was charged with homicide by child abuse. Officials said it appeared the boys were asphyxiated.

I read this story and immediately got sick to my stomach. Obviously to kill your kids is enough to get me there. But to smother them in your bed and then go back to sleep? I’m waiting for the “not guilty by reason of insanity plea” to come next since no “sane” person would ever do that.

Why Child Abuse Should Carry Harsher Sentences

This is heart-wrenching:

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A woman and her roommate were charged with starving the woman’s 9-year-old daughter, who weighed just 42 pounds when she was found, was locked up all day and was forced to wear a filthy diaper, authorities said.

My 8-year-old weighs 75 pounds. This little girl’s life had to be a living hell for her.

The girl was so emaciated that her spine and ribcage were showing when state child welfare officials took her June 30, police said.

The girl also had her hands bound behind her, was locked in a bedroom all day and wore a diaper that went unchanged for hours, officials said. She told police it was punishment for bad behavior.

“It’s a very disturbing case,” police Detective Joe DeLuca said. “You see very few like this.”

The girl now lives with her grandparents and has gained about 25 pounds in a month.

Melissa Samoraj, 27, and Raymond LaFountain, 31, were arrested Wednesday.

To me, these criminals deserve no less than life in prison without a chance of parole (and that’s the minimum sentence in my mind). This child is forever changed emotionally and perhaps physically because of their abuse. If this child can have a “normal life” taken from her, why do these criminals deserve better?

Andrea Yates, Continued

I hope not to appear obsessed with this, but this piece crossed my eyes earlier today and I couldn’t comprehend what I was reading, this particular quote from the Boston Globe (emphasis mine):

Prosecutors agreed that Yates was sick but said she was sane enough to know killing the children was wrong.

“We are extremely disappointed with the verdict,” lead prosecutor Joe Owmby told reporters.

Yates was being tried for the murder of only three of her children, but Owmby said he would recommend to District Attorney Chuck Rosenthal that he not seek a trial for the other two.

Why is that? Why would they stop? What about the justice for the other children and/or the potential for them to seek a sentence that would put her in prison for life, versus the opportunity to walk free (even if it is years later)? What would prevent them from seeking this trial? In many cases they choose to divide up the charges, choosing to pursue only some with the idea that they could follow up with further trials as needed. Do the prosecutors believe her sentence is adequate or do they feel they have no hope in winning?

I have to let it go or it will consume me. I need to go hug my kids now.

Plains Feeder linked with Andrea Yates says...
Andrea Yates (Not) Guilty by Reason of Insanity

I preface this post with that warning for good reason. The debacle also known as the retrial of Andrea Yates has just culimated into yet another ridiculous verdict. Where as in the first trial she was found guilty of murdering her innocent children by systematically chasing them down and drowning them one by one, she was retried and this time found “Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity.” It’s BULLSHIT. ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT. I hope the jury can live with their decision because it’s possible this damned waste of a human being could be released from inpatient mental health care when she’s “cured” or “treated” or “ready.” Ain’t that nice?

The 42-year-old will be committed to a state mental hospital, with periodic hearings before a judge to determine whether she should be released.

If convicted of murder, she would have faced life in prison.

Defense attorneys never disputed that Yates killed her five children — 6-month-old Mary, 2-year-old Luke, 3-year-old Paul, 5-year-old John and 7-year-old Noah — by drowning them in a bathtub of their suburban Houston home in June 2001. They based their case, however, on a claim that she suffered from severe postpartum psychosis and, in a delusional state, believed Satan was inside her and was trying to save them from hell.

Of course they never disputed it, because she’s completely GUILTY of murdering her five children. Can you imagine looking into the face of your child and making the decision to end their life…watching them struggle as you drown them heartlessly in the bathtub before you hunt down your next victim? Didn’t think so. But SHE DID. Sitting in a mental hospital breathing, reading, watching TV, sleeping, eating, living life with a hope to be free some day is NOT the right punishment for this monster. She honestly deserves no less than the death penalty. So she’s mentally ill. SO WHAT! There is nothing mentally “right” with any killer. You cannot tell me that Ted Bundy was sane. You cannot tell me that the BTK killer was sane. Or Jeffrey Dahmer. Or any killer. There is something broken inside of each and every one of them. NONE of them, including Andrea Yates should be given ANY opportunity to enter society again. EVER. To call this verdict “NOT” guilty is such bullshit. It’s like grading a student’s paper in purple so they feel better about themselves. At the very least call it GUILTY by reason of insanity if you have to call it anything at all. For me it’s simple and will save the trees and save ink when you just print GUILTY on the record.

Speaking of bullshit, Rusty Yates is as vile as his ex-wife is. He thinks this verdict was a “victory.” A few RustyYate-isms:

1. referred to his former wife as a “loving mother who just fell to this disease”

2. said the prosecution “just believed they had enough of the truth to proceed, they never made an effort to get the whole truth.”

3. “It really disappointed me that the state spent … probably a million-and-a-half dollars to get to really, what to me, was obvious from the beginning,” he added, referring to her former wife as “psychotic.”

4. said that in a mental institution she can have a “better quality of life for herself.”

5. said he and and his former wife often reminisce about their children. “Not very many people knew our children … they were our lives, they were important to us,” he said.

Where to begin?

1. How do you call a mother who maliciously murders her five children “loving?”

2. Yeah, and the truth was that Andrea Yates methodically murdered her five children violently.

3. If she would have plead guilty - which she was - that kind of money could have stayed with the state.

4. Fuck her quality of life. Who gives a shit about her quality of life? She obviously didn’t care about the lives of five innocent kids - her own at that.

5. Yeah, until she snuffed life from them. How about their lives, Rusty? Kind of hard for the joys of her life to have a good quality of life when they are buried in a wooden boxes six feet under the grass and flowers they should be enjoying every summer.

I think there’s something broken inside of Rusty Yates as well. I don’t think I’m alone in that thought.

…and *this* quote:

Resnick told jurors that Yates was in a delusional state and believed 6-month-old Mary, 2-year-old Luke, 3-year-old Paul, 5-year-old John and 7-year-old Noah would grow up to be criminals because she had ruined them.

So there it is. It’s all about her. Killing her kids to hide her “mistakes.” Pleading not guilty by reason of insanity because she was the *victim* in all of this. Folks, every day more and more people are pulling the victim card. This paves the way for yet another victim to say they murdered their kids because of this or that versus just taking the accountability and responsibility to say “yep…I did it. I killed ‘em. I don’t know what got over me, but I know murder brings the death penalty. I guess I got to step up and take my punishment.” This victim mentality is bringing society down a notch for sure.

It pisses me off that this case had to be retried because of erroneous testimony. I sure hope Dr. Park Dietz pauses and learns from this. I wonder what goes through his head when he thinks about what his erroneous testimony has caused.

What hope is there with this case? Well, they only convicted her for three of the murders. Perhaps she’ll get the justice that would best represent these vile crimes for the other two lives lost.
