The Other Terrorists

Riley Ann Sawyers, age two. Murdered by her mother and stepfather.

In a statement to police included in the affidavit, Trenor, 19, said she and Zeigler, 24, killed Riley July 24.

The girl was beaten with leather belts, had her head held underwater in a bathtub and then was thrown across a room, her head slamming into a tile floor, Trenor said in the document. She said they kept the body in a storage shed for one to two months before they put it in a plastic bin and dumped it into Galveston Bay.

Why isn’t there a Gitmo for these types of people?

Stories like this are why leftist squeals about waterboarding fall on my deaf ears. Just watch, these two oxygen wasters will probably get light sentences for involuntary manslaughter. They surely won’t get the death penalties that they both richly deserve.

If their burned bodies were hanging from a Fallujah bridge, I would rightfully declare “Screw ‘em.”

Turkey Earns Stay

This guy is an escapee from the turkey farm next door to us. He’s been wandering around the woods that separates us from the farm, and has recently become bold enough to come right up to the house.

I was inside steamcleaning carpets last weekend and the boys were in the basement watching the BIG GAME! (U of M vs. Ohio) I noticed him walk by and grabbed my camera. After I got my pictures, I chased him back into the woods and went back to my steamcleaning. When it was time for me to have a beer, I went downstairs and headed to the patio through the furnace room. I opened the door and that damned bird was RIGHT THERE! I slammed the door in his face, scaring me like that!

A very dear friend of mine is going to introduce Butterball here to his maker this weekend. The turkey farm owner said we’d be doing him a favor and the the ol’ tom probably misses his 10,000 friends! We’ll freeze him until either New Year or Super Bowl, when I’ll make my first ever attempt at deep fried turkey.

Happy Thanksgiving all!

Good News!

This is good news:

LEXINGTON, Neb. — A female schoolteacher was arrested in Mexico and the 13-year-old boy she allegedly ran away with was turned over to his relatives, a prosecutor said Saturday.

Kelsey Peterson, a 25-year-old sixth-grade math teacher and basketball coach at Lexington Middle School, was arrested in Mexicali, a city on the border with California, Dawson County Attorney Elizabeth Waterman said.

They were found and apprehended by Mexican authorities without incident Friday evening. Peterson was in FBI custody and transported back to the U.S. early Saturday, and the boy was released to relatives in Mexico, Waterman said.

What’s with this whole teacher and young student thing….and female teachers with boys? I mean, I remember the whole “boy student having a crush on his female teacher thing,” but while it used to be the teachers had a level of maturity and common sense about them and never entertained the idea of fulfilling that boy’s fantasy, now these women seem to have lost that discretion. I could never have imagined being interested in an 8th grade boy when I was 25. How disgusting is *that*??????????

Throw the book at this woman, please. I would never want my son or daughter exposed to such a poor example of an adult.
